Welcome to the Inner Harbor Yacht Club!
The Inner Harbor Yacht Club was founded one fine day in September 1963 in Tonawanda New York, a suburb of
Buffalo. Twenty-one boat owners were together when they decided to drop a dollar each into a hat and start a yacht club. Inner
Harbor was built from the ground up with membership doing most of their own work and still does to this day. The Women’s
Auxiliary was also formed in 1963 and have become a working partner supporting the club.
Inner Harbor highlights include Flag Raising, Mother's Day Brunch, Band & BBQ, Boat Blessing, and
many other great events. In 1976 fish fry's were served each first Friday of the month
and have since become a culinary tradition among many area boaters.
Inner Harbor Yacht Club has a lot to offer and
membership is
always open to new members.
